About Doug Batey

Doug Batey is a principal in the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP. He has a business law practice and advises companies and executives on a broad range of issues, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate, securities and commercial law, limited liability companies, and corporate governance. His practice experience also includes the protection, licensing and distribution of technology and intellectual property, as well as work on executive employment issues, commercial contracts and business disputes. He has advised a number of start-up and early stage entrepreneurial companies from business formation, seed round and venture capital financings, through successful growth and later acquisitions. He is a member of the Partnership and LLC Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
